Casting for Kids was held on July 13, 2010 at Olga Community Center. These summer campers were very enthusiasts when the Fort Myers Bass Hunters pulled into the parking lot with boats in tow (Stratos (2) and Triton). The 60 campers divided into 4 groups. Danny Williams instructed the Pitching, Robert Watkins instructed  on bait casting, Isrel Daigle instructed the spinning reel and Malcolm McCollum instructed the flipping. The campers learned what it felt like to cast from the deck on the boats. The campers rotated to the different stations and many of the campers casting abiltiy were impressive. At the end of the four sessions the campers were handed soft plastic baits (worm, lizard, frogs and sinko's).

The Fort Myers Bass Hunters would like to give a special thanks to Bass Pro Shop for their contributions for donating T-Shirts and the casting equipments for the campers.
